Course Rating:
As a member of the Association, your club has access to official USGA Course Rating services. This ensures your golfers that the course rating of your facility is accurate and up-to-date with USGA guidelines to be used by the Handicap System. Every 10 years, courses are required to be rated again per the USGA, even if nothing has changed. Clubs that purposefully make changes to the course, such as bunker and green remodelling (or other major projects/changes), should request a re-rating upon the completion of the project. Of course, a club can make a request for a new course rating or course rating materials at any time. Have a request? Let us know using the Course Rating Request Form.

Tournament Management
Member Clubs have access to Golf Genius TM Club, allowing the set-up and use of the software for club events. You can collect registrations (with or without online payments), set event tee times, make pairings, and quickly post scores/results online all in one place. With the new Golf Hub feature, it is easier than ever to create event pages and promote the events to your club membership or public. We have set up a Metropolitan Aggregated Club Hub where golfers can find public golf tournaments and events hosted by clubs throughout our region. Ask us how you can get your Golf Genius account set up and start using Golf Hub today! For an additional fee, clubs can opt to use TM Club Premium. Contact Curt for more information on upgrading.

As you prepare for your upcoming tournaments, take a moment to check your supply inventory. Missing something that you will need? Fill out the Tournament Management Supplies Order Form and we can get those items to you soon.
Club Champions Submission
Each year, clubs around the area hold a Club Championship to determine the best golfer from their facility. We want to know who they are, so we can spread the excitement! In the Final Issue of The Metropolitan eNewsletter every year, we include a list of the area club champions and want yours to be included. To submit your 2025 Club Champions for recognition, click here.
GHIN
Many clubs are already GHIN clubs, providing area golfers with an official handicap index. Together, we have given over 25,000 golfers in the area access to a handicap index and usage of the World Handicap System. As a reminder, clubs must complete the authorization/assessments each year and maintain a minimum of 10 golfers to keep the compliant status within GHIN and continued service to your members. Recently, GHIN introduced the offering of Online Join & Renew (OJR), which gives your club a unique GHIN membership sign-up URL. Golfers can use this URL to join or renew their GHIN accounts with your club digitally, including payment. This means you do not have to have a GHIN Club Admin present for golfers to renew, and you do not have to track them down for payments. For more information on how OJR can benefit your club, contact us!
Staff Changes
We try to keep up with the changes at our Member Clubs, but this can be challenging during the busier times of the year. With your help, we can make sure the right people are getting the right information each time. Whether it is the changing of the guard of a particular position or a specific person on staff that you want to add into the fold, let us know!
