2026 Metropolitan Championship Schedule
St. Louis, MO - Our favorite time of year is just around the corner and the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association is proud to announce its 2026 Championship Schedule. We are holding the annual 14 local Championships, as well as the Amateur Series and 8 USGA Qualifiers. We have a full schedule for golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Please Note a Few Things: we do have a qualifier scheduled for the Metropolitan Amateur in the instance we exceed the allotted field size with entries. The status of the qualifier is dependent on the number of total entries for the Amateur Championship and will not be known until around the registration deadline. In anticipation of the needed qualifying round based on previous years, we are adding a second date and location for the Amateur Championship Qualifying. This year, the U.S. Amateur Qualifier we are holding is the Final Qualifying round - those interested will need to go through a Local Qualifier and select our location for their final. We will not be holding the U.S. Junior Amateur and Girls’ Junior Amateur Qualifiers this year in accordance with our alternating hosting schedule. All Metropolitan Championships and events will open registration on March 4, while the USGA registration dates vary. Each championship will have a designated portal through Golf Genius, where all details including age and Handicap Index requirements can be found. Deadlines will vary for each championship and event, so check the designated portal of the event on our website.
