Amateur Series Event #1 and #2
O’Fallon and Weldon Spring, MO - The first two amateur series events are in the books. The first event was at WingHaven Country Club on May 6, while the second event was at Persimmon Woods Golf Club on May 28. Both events had full fields with 130 and 132 players, respectively. Competitors made their way around each course while enjoying the competition and comradery.
The WingHaven event was a wet one. Rainy weather overnight and throughout the morning, left players to battle through the wet conditions. Mid-day, the clouds broke and turned it into a beautiful day on the course. Despite the early weather, players enjoyed their day of golf. Event #1 at WingHaven Country Club Top 5 for each division:
