MAGA Conducts Day One of 13th Metropolitan Four-Ball Championship

Washington, MO – Corey Choate and Jason White lead the Metropolitan Four-Ball Championship Open Division with a score of -7. The two-day tournament is being hosted at Franklin County Country Club and is divided into four divisions. Divisions include the Open, Net, Senior Open and Senior Net.
 
Golfers played a shotgun start Sunday morning with players teeing off of every hole excepting the 2nd through 5th holes.
 
Choate and White lead but they are not comfortable yet going into day two. As it stands after day one action, six pairings are tied for second only two strokes back from the leaders at -5.
 
John Rosenbaum and Ryan Helfrich lead a small field in the Net Division with an impressive score of -11. Buddy Allen and Brian Lovett have a commanding six stroke lead in the Senior Open Division with a score of -8.
 
Buck Clement and Denny Niedringhaus fill out the Senior Net Division with a score of +7.
 
Golfers will have a traditional start tomorrow morning with the first tee time at 7:30 where they will line up to finish the tournament.
