Captain Holtgrieve set to lead 44th Walker Cup match

walkercuplogoThe 44th Walker Cup Match begins Saturday morning at The National Golf Links of America in Southampton, NY.  St. Louisan Jim Holtgrieve is set to lead his team against the GB&I team to try and win back the Walker Cup that was lost two years again across the ocean.

Having played on 3 Walker Cup team himself, Holtgrieve has relished this opportunity and taken this task to lead the American squad very seriously.  He is as passionate and has been as dedicated as anyone we have seen in making sure the 8 men representing the United States understands what it means to play for your country.

MAGA wishes Team USA and Captain Holtgrieve all the best as they embark on this weekend.  You can see play each day on the Golf Channel from 4pm-6pm, tune in to see some great golf and see one of the great golf courses in the United States!
