2014 PJ Boatwright Internships Available
MAGA is excited to once again be able to offer the PJ Boatwright Internship Program for the 2014 season. The Boatwright Internship program is a grant provided by the USGA to State and Regional Golf Associations around the country. The grant allows the SRGA’s to hire quality young men and women and introduce them to the world of golf administration at the state and local levels. MAGA’s Executive Director, Curt Rohe, was a Boatwright intern in 1998-1999.
MAGA has two opportunities available, 3 and 4 month internships. These internships are paid and will expose the candidates to all of the services that MAGA provides to its member clubs and, more importantly, are a vital part of the conduct of our championship schedule.
The two opportunities descriptions can be downloaded below. Internships will begin approximately May 15, 2014 and candidates will be interviewed beginning around March 1.
