Migdal Leads Day 1 of APL Qualifying; 4 Are 1 Shot Back
Joe Migdal (Ballwin, MO; Aberdeen GC) had the lone round under par today at Aberdeen Golf Club for the overnight lead at the 89th US Amateur Public Links Qualifying. Migdal’s 1-under par 70 included 3 birdies and 2 bogeys.
Migdal is 1 shot clear of 4 others at Even par 71. 2013 US APL qualifier Kyle Weldon joins Steven Souchek, Ian Barnes and Mark Gardiner in the pack one back.
The 36-holes of qualifying will conclude Tuesday beginning at 7am, the final group is scheduled to tee off at 9:00am.
