Forest Hills CC Hosts 22nd Women’s Amateur
The 22nd Women’s Amateur Championship will be conducted at the beautiful Forest Hills Country Club this week. Play begins at 8:30am with the Championship Flight. Twelve ladies are scheduled to play in the Championship Flight, including defending Champion Catherine Dolan. Coming off her victorious Curtis Cup captaincy, 12-time champion Ellen Port is looking to get back into competition. The Championship Flight will compete for the Jayne M. Watson Trophy!
Three other flights of ladies will tee it up at Forest Hills. These other flights were determined by course handicaps. Ladies in these flights will play for Net titles within each flight.
