Jefferson City CC Hosts US Amateur Qualifying Monday
MAGA will venture outside the St. Louis region to conduct US Amateur Qualifying Monday. Jefferson City CC is set to host the 36-hole qualifying July 14. Jefferson City hosted US Senior Amateur Qualifying about 10 years ago and since then has gone through an extensive golf course renovation.
The course will play to 7,037 yards par 71 for the qualifying, Hole 2 has been converted to a par 4 for Monday. Seventy golfers will compete for 3 qualifying spots, all 36 holes being played Monday. The 2014 US Amateur will be August 11-17 at Atlanta Athletic Club.
