Nurski, Berkmeyer, Caravia Chosen for Men’s State Team

Brad Nurski (St. Joseph, MO), Skip Berkmeyer (St. Louis, MO) and Phil Caravia (St. Louis, MO) were chosen Tuesday to represent the State of Missouri at the USGA Men’s State Team Championship September 30 – October 2 at French Lick Resort in French Lick, IN.

Nurski and Berkmeyer have each competed multiple times for Missouri at the championship, this will be Caravia’s first time representing the Show-Me-State.
Teams from all 50 states and the District of Columbia are expected to be in the field.  The format is 54-holes at stroke play, each day two of the three competitors scores count toward the team score.  New York is the defending champion in the bi-annual competition.  The 2015 USGA Women’s State Team Championship will be conducted at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau.
