Amateur Series Championship Ends Season at Aberdeen

Aberdeen Golf Club played host to the 2014 MAGA Amateur Series Championship this past weekend.  Forty-three (43) eligible participants from the season long event came out to end the season in the 2-day championship.  It was the tale of two days of weather at Aberdeen for the championship, Saturday saw cold, windy conditions which made scoring very difficult…while Sunday was a picture perfect day for golf.

Check out all of the scores from the Championship via the Plaza Motors Scoreboard, 2014 Amateur Series Championship.  Thank you to the over 100 participants who played in the 2014 Series and for the wonderful venues we had for this years series.

In our Scratch Open Division, season points leaders Kevin Jeske came away with the title with rounds of 76-73 to win by four shots over Mike Lawton.
