2021 MAGA Mid-America Junior Cup Team Announced

MID-AMERICA JR. CUP PORTAL

St. Louis, MO – The Metropolitan Golf Association (MAGA) is excited to announce the team heading to Kansas City later this month to compete in the Mid-America Junior Cup.

The 23rd playing of the event takes place Oct. 23-24 at Falcon Lakes Golf Club in Kansas City.

The Mid-America Junior Cup matches are an annual competition between Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association (MAGA) and Central Links Golf (CLG), formerly the Kansas City Golf Association (KCGA). The competition began in 1999 as an effort to showcase the top juniors from each Associations respective regions. The event was created to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship between MAGA and KCGA.

MAGA and CLG are tied in the all-time series with nine wins apiece plus four ties. CLG retained the cup after last year’s playing at Lake Forest Country Club, where the match was halved 8-8.

MAGA will be sending eight players to compete.
