The Thomas O. Sobbe Cup is a year-long competition between Member Clubs of MAGA.

Teams are comprised of 8 players from each club, 7 amateurs and 1 professional. Clubs are divided into 3 team Divisions for Regular Season play, and will play a home-and-home against the other two (2) teams in their Division. Division winners will go into a single-elimination Playoffs.
Each round, Regular Season and Playoffs, there are 6 matches contested. A Professional Match, 2 Singles Scratch Matches, 1 Singles Handicap Match, 1 Senior Four-Ball Handicap Match and 1 Four-Ball Handicap Match makes up the 6 matches.
