Dodds, Delsing off to good starts in Q School Stage 2
St. Louisan Trevor Dodds fired a 5-under 67, good for T2 after one round of the PGA Tour Q School qualifying in Pine Mountain, Ga. Dodds, a former PGA Tour winner, enjoyed a bogey-free round to get off to a good start in his effort to move back onto the PGA Tour in 2009.
St. Louisan Jay Delsing fired a 4-under 68 and was tied for 7th after one round to put himself in solid position to advance.
Dodds, 49, won the 1998 Greater Greensboro Classic on the PGA and has victories on the Canadian and Nationwide Tours as well. Delsing, 48, won twice on the Nationwide Tour and has a pair of seconds in his lengthy PGA Tour career.
