MAGA Open Champion Secures Nationwide Tour Card
The 2010 Metropolitan Open Champion, Shawn Jasper, secured full status on the Nationwide Tour for 2011 at PGA Tour Qualifying School this past week in Orlando, FL.
Jasper began his professional career the summer after his senior year at the University of Missouri and competed right away on the Canadian Tour. Since then he has made his way around other small tours including the Hooters and Adams Golf Pro Tour.
This past summer, Jasper secured his first professional victory and a $6,000 payday at CC of St. Albans at the 5th Metropolitan Open Championship.
Jasper will begin this new chapter of his pro career in February in Panama City, Panama.
