Six Qualify for US Open Sectional Round from Persimmon Woods
Two golfers broke par on Wednesday, May 11th at Persimmon Woods GC to earn co-medalist honors. Connor McHenry (Jefferson City, MO; pictured at left) and Colby Wollitz (Henderson, KY) each shot 1-under par 69s. Three others shot 2-over 72 for three of the six spots, Brent Holmes (Cape Girardeau, MO); Jack Ehlers (O'Fallon, MO) and Adam Long (Lake St. Louis, MO). The final spot came out of a group at 3-over par 73. Skip Berkmeyer earned that final spot with a birdie on the first playoff hole, #10.
