Fire 1-Under 70s to Earn Spots

Robert Trittler and Taylorville, IL Dave Ryan each had 1-under par 70s at
Missouri Bluffs Golf Club Tuesday to earn the two (2) qualifying spots available
into the 2011 USGA Senior Amateur Qualifying.
Trittler has had a solid summer and with this Qualifying has slid
up into the 2nd position on the MAGA Senior Player of the Year Standings. Ryan,
who earlier this summer qualified for the US Senior Open at Inverness, has
played in numerous USGA Championships.
The Alternate positions were
decided by a play-off between David Estes and Mike Shelbourne of Paducah, KY.
They each had Even par 71 on the day. Shelbourne would earn the 1st Alternate
position with a par on the 11th Hole after both golfers made par on the 10th.
