12th METROPOLITAN JUNIOR AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
David Abolt (Metropolitan/Gateway PGA Junior GC) held his lead following Round 1 with no problem. Abolt fired the Championships loan under par round with a 3-under 68 in very hot conditions at Clinton Hill GC to win the 12th Metropolitan Junior Amateur title. Abolt had rounds of 71-68, for a 3-under total of 139.
Clayton Voss (Franklin County CC), and from the 14-15 year old age division, claimed the Runner-Up honors after his 78-72-150 total.
In the 14-15 year old age division Jimmy Siegfried (Old Warson CC) claimed the runner-up position with a 152 total.
In the 12-13 year old age division, Frankie Thomas (Meadowbrook CC) won the division title with rounds of 77-73 for a 150 total.
