KCGA Prevails to Retain Cup
The KCGA team secured their retention of the Mid-America Junior on Saturday afternoon by capturing all 4 matches and earning the 4 points necessary to keep the cup on the western side of the state.
With absolutely perfect conditions and a very difficult golf course, the KCGA squad controlled 3 of the 4 Four-Ball Matches on Saturday afternoon. MAGA team of Adam Welch and Nick Goeke needed to win the 18th Hole at Milburn CC to salvage a half-point on Saturday.
Sunday morning Foursomes started out in again perfect cool conditions. Three of the 4 matches went back and forth for most of the day, with the MAGA team of Lindsey Eisenreich and Bryce Dolan dominating their match for the MAGA first point.
