Bellerive Repeats;
Wins Metropolitan Cup final vs. Fox Run
Bellerive Country Club became only the second three-time winner of the Metropolitan Cup Matches and the first since Norwood Hills (in 1999-2000) to repeat as champions recently at Forest Hills Country Club. Bellerive posted a 4-2 match victory over Fox Run Golf Club. Bellerive got wins from Mike Tucker (pro singles), Brian Lovett (amateur scratch singles), Bill Cady (amateur handicap singles), and Tom Schneider-Jack Malloy (four-ball handicap). Fox Run posted wins in amateur scratch singles (Buddy Allen) and four-ball handicap (Craig Solberg-Doyle Waggle).
